THE BEST SUSHI AND SERVICE!!!!

Amazing atmosphere, sushi and ramen were absolutely delicious, and the server and sushi chef were hospitable and entertaining. I can't wait till next time!

Service is friendly and prompt. Sushi is well made and very good but rather high priced. Unfortunately, among high priced restaurants, Umami does not stand out as a top choice for so many of my hard-earned dollars, and it's strip mall location does not do it any favors in that regard. Even among sushi joints, Umami does not reach the top tier to which it aspires, but it offers a good meal albeit at pretentious prices.

Great sushi... and we're picky, but best quality is the friendly, professional service. They earned bonus points tonight by staying open late so I could return and retrieve my phone I left while dining.Our new go to sushi. Go. You won't be disappointed.

Love coming for sushi :) The staff is absolutely wonderful and always cheerful. They have a base menu, but each week post new specials. We enjoy the variety! Daniel and his crew create a great experience. The food is delicious. The soup is great. We ended our night with a red bean pancake with coconut and green tea ice cream. Go all the way to dessert and try something new!

Super upgrade from the place that was there before. Try the Tuna Nachos as they’re delish. Staff is friendly and they even made a cool little panda bear plate for my little guy!

Great food and great service! The waitress taught me how to use chopsticks and included two chopstick training devices in my to go bag! I had the pineapple rice sand the Alaskan roll, both of which were incredible! Will definitely be going again!!!

Best sushi around! We’ve lived in the Horizon West area for coming up on two years and the one thing we struggled to find was great tasting sushi without feeling like we’re breaking the bank.We visited Umami on a whim based on great Google reviews and we were SO impressed. All the rolls we got were delicious, as well as the basil fried rice and the yakisoba. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. We’re already planning our next visit here. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and service always!

Its location and look from the outside had me worried. But, just like Nana always told me never judge a book by its cover. You open the door and are met with a very contemporary decor in a very small location. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Although the menu is very small all the food is very well executed. We ordered the ahi tuna nacho special and three sushi rolls. All we're fresh well seasoned and plated to please the eye. We plan to visit one more time before we head back home. If you live in this area...I would recommend you visit....

We live 60 minutes away, but it is totally worth the drive. We have been twice now. This sushi is amazing. All the rolls are uniquely flavorful, fresh & delicious! I highly recommend the Tsunami roll & the Alaskan, those were our favorites. Super good!

This is a diamond in the rough. It’s my new go-to sushi place. Amazing food. Fresh. Amazing prices. Friendly service. Clean. There are only 7 tables and a sushi bar. When it’s full the 1 (sometimes 2) server gets overwhelmed so the service may be slightly slow at times. They have a great happy hour (menu items as well as drinks) everyday from 4-6. Give it a try- I’m very picky about my sushi. This place does it right!

You would never know it from the parking lot but this is the best sushi in town. Amazing food, the fish is always fresh and the service is always exceptional. The chef clearly takes pride in his dishes, both waitresses are very sweet and knowledgeable about each dish.

I ordered 50$ of sushi off door dash from this place, by far the worst sushi I have ever had,everything tasted like an aquarium.

My husband and I are in Winter Garden for his work at the hospital. We were craving sushi and I am always nervous to try new places. We ordered 4 rolls and tuna nigiri. Everything was so delicious and fresh! The staff were very friendly and made suggestions on a roll for us to try. The tuna is maybe the best I have had. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a delicious meal.

Delicious! What a fantastic hidden gem. The happy hour is Tuesday - Sunday and has nice selections. Ordered California and tempura rolls and an order of ramen. The Ramen was out of the world delicious! We'll for sure be back

I love this place the sushi is exceptionally good. This restaurant has a lot of house made rolls and some classic rolls. The place has a modern Japanese feel to it and the owner is super friendly. The price is middle road great place to go if you don't want to sacrifice quality for price.

Best sushi in Orlando

Hidden little gem in a middle of a small plaza. Right next to Publix. Great food and ambiancs. You can actually have a talk and hear.

Cute little place in a shopping center. The majority of the menu is sushi, but there are a few cooked items as well. Service was great although food did take a little bit. But that's too be expected when they're literally rolling the sushi at the bar. The food was really good, and everyone cleaned their plates. 😁 I liked that it wasn't really loud, but it's not a place where you could easily sit a large group. And if it's a busy night you may end up needing to wait until a table clears. Overall, it's a nice restaurant for a table of 2 or 4, and I'd definitely go back.
